India hasn't presented any proof to demonstrate its case that Kulbhushan Jadhav took early retirement, said Pakistan's legal counselor Khavar Qureshi.
The International Court of Justice continued hearing the case on Tuesday. Pakistan presented its reaction to Indian contentions.
Pakistan has condemned Jadhav to death for spying while India claims he isn't a government agent and is testing his capital punishment.
Pakistan's assignment is being driven by Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan.
No proof was submitted to demonstrate Indian cases, said Qureshi. Jadhav was a serving officer of the Indian Navy when he was captured. He was utilizing the spread name of Mubarak Patel.
"What proof is that he resigned in February 2016," Qureshi inquired. In the event that he had resigned, at that point for what reason were Rs96,000 saved as pay in his record and not benefits.
"For what reason was he under lock and key with a substantial international ID with spread name," he commented. "This is a basic apparatus of spycraft."
The four-day hearing will proceed till February 21, Thursday.
